Causes of Acne - Acne is a skin irritation that is very disturbing. The bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes, is a normal inhabitant of human skin. This bacterium uses sebum as food to grow, thus increasing the number of follicles during puberty. White blood cells it produces enzymes that destroy the follicle wall, causing the contents of the follicle into the skin layers (dermis). The bacteria also cause the formation of free fatty acids, which are irritants (irritant), thereby increasing the inflammatory process in the follicle.
